February 17-18

Oil Painting with Palette Knives

Instructor: Lorrie Lane

Learn about the use of palette knives for painting, as well as color mixing, design, and texture. Drinks, snacks, and boxed lunches will be provided. Please make us aware of any dietary restrictions (vegetarian, allergies, etc.).

Friday, February 17, 7 PM-9 PM – Demonstration
Saturday, February 18, 9 AM-4 PM – Class

Tuition: $125 per student; members get 10% off

Materials: Instructor will send a list of required materials to students. Materials are not included in registration.
Level: Beginner – Experienced, adult class; interested high school students must have advanced approval of instructor
Deadlines: Registration ends at noon on Saturday, February 11, 2017. Refunds for registration will not be issued after 5 PM, Friday February 3, 2017.

Kentuck’s workshop for artists on how to apply to festivals using zapplication.org, the site used to apply for the Kentuck Festival of the Arts, as well as many other festivals and shows.

Tips, pointers, examples, Q & A, and “What WAS that juror thinking?”
