In this class, participants will create their own baskets at the instruction of Jill and Mickey Miller, two of the Kentuck Festival of the Arts' Demonstrating Artists. This class will be held in the Georgine Clarke Building on Kentuck's campus and will be held on four consecutive Mondays. Participants must pay a $80 materials fee to be paid to the Millers at the start of the first session. This class is for participants 18+. 

Attendance is limited to a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 10 students.

Meet the Instructors

Jill and Mickey Miller

Jill & Mickey Miller have been weaving baskets for over twenty-five years. They are demonstrating artists at the Kentuck Festival of the Arts, and their baskets are available at Kentuck's Gallery Shop in downtown Northport, Alabama. They do chair caning as well as teach basket weaving. The Millers have taught with Kentuck Art Center and PARA.
