"Missionary" Mary Proctor is a contemporary folk artist located in Tallahassee, Florida. Missionary Mary is one of our festival artists who has been featured at the Smithsonian; The American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore, Maryland; and has been featured on the cover of Raw Vision, the international magazine for contemporary folk art. She was named 2016 Artist of the Year by the American Folk Art Society of America.
