Blue Raku Jar-Daniel Livingston
This delicately thrown and fired vessel is made in Kentuck's Courtyard of Wonders by studio artist Daniel Livingston and is approximately 5.25"x6.5"x6.5".
Daniel Livingston has been working with clay for a large portion
of his life and states, “I have always been fascinated by the
potter’s wheel. There was just something about it that drew me in
when I was younger, and this was years before I even touched
one.” In the early 70’s Livingston enrolled in art school, eventually
earning a bachelor and master of fine arts degree from the
University of Alabama. Every third weekend in October since
1992, Livingston has demonstrated and sold his work at the
Kentuck Festival of the Arts. In addition to the Kentuck, Livingston
exhibits his work at many other shows throughout the Southeast.
