Chip and Dip Leaf Platter Sets-Carol Lammon

  • These unique serving dishes will elevate chips and dip to a whole new level! Artfully crafted by Alabama artist Carol Lammon, these ceramic pieces are beautifully glazed and ready for your next gathering. Each set consists of a serving tray, bowl, and spoon.

A: Tray approximately 15"x7.5"x1.1"; Bowl approximately 2.5" (height) x3.9" (mouth)

B: Tray approximately 15.25"x7.75"x1"; Bowl approximately 2.25" (height) x4" (mouth)

  • For many years Carol attended art festivals, usually taking home a beautiful piece of pottery. After retiring from teaching nursing at The University of Alabama, she participated in painting and pottery classes through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI).  A love of collecting pottery was transformed into a love of creating pottery. Carol utilizes both wheel throwing and hand building techniques to create her works. She especially enjoys the finishing process, often decorating her pieces with detailed glazing applied with artist’s brushes. Most of her creations are functional pieces inspired by antiques, organics and old lace.
