Glass Plate - Linda Munoz

  • Linda Munoz's talent shines through this gorgeous, colorful glass plate! The crisp geometric patterns provide some aesthetic funk while the colors allow light to pass through briliantly. This plate measures 9.5" x 9.75".

  • Linda Muñoz has been a stained-glass artist for almost 25 years. Her interest in glass has led her to a love of mosaic art and fused glass. She has taught the art of mosaics to children and adults for the last five years and is currently teaching mosaic art to students at the University of Alabama through a program at the Ferguson Center. She has also taught children at the Akron, Alabama, Boy's and Girl's Club and the Coleman Center for Arts and Culture. Linda Muñoz has been making fused glass jewelry recently, and she has purchased a larger kiln which enables her to create larger art pieces. She studied advanced slumping and fusing in January 2005 at the John C. Campbell Folk School, learning new techniques and methods of design.  Muñoz works and teaches classes in her studio, Little River Art, Mentone, Alabama.
