Heavy Metal-Jim Shores

  • This sculpture is made from found objects by Jim Shores, a Festival favorite! Approximately 17"x16"x1.5"

  • I'm a self-taught artist, and I make found-object sculpture, assemblage and environmental art from found/discarded objects. I work full-time as an artist (since 1996) and sell my work mainly through folk art festivals/shows and galleries, as well as to folks who visit me at home and tour my yard. I am honored to have my work in the permanent Folk Art collections of the High Museum of Art (Atlanta. Ga) as well as the Polk Museum (Lakeland, Fl) and the House of Blues (Orlando, Fl). I also feel blessed to have my work in private collections around the country.
