Lazy Susan-Carol Lammon
Everyone knows a lazy susan makes sharing with and serving others much easier. Add this gorgeous piece to your table and turn up the style. Approximately 13" diameter and 3.5" tall. The clay piece is made by Carol Lammon, and the wood bottom was created by George Shelton.
For many years Carol attended art festivals, usually taking home a beautiful piece of pottery. After retiring from teaching nursing at The University of Alabama, she participated in painting and pottery classes through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). A love of collecting pottery was transformed into a love of creating pottery. Carol utilizes both wheel throwing and hand building techniques to create her works. She especially enjoys the finishing process, often decorating her pieces with detailed glazing applied with artist’s brushes. Most of her creations are functional pieces inspired by antiques, organics and old lace.
