In 2014, Rachel Ann Wakefield graduated cum laude from The University of Alabama with a BFA in sculpture and painting. She has showcased her work in several exhibitions throughout the state of Alabama and has won several awards, most recently the Howard & Michael Goodson and Richard Zoellner Best of Show Award at the West Alabama Juried Art Exhibition. Previously working with and owning a studio in Florence, Wakefield now works in a Northport studio. Her eye-catching, lifelike oil paintings display images of fruit, silhouettes, subjects underwater, and more.
