Kentuck Art Center & Festival
Last Updated: March 20, 2026
1. Our Commitment to Accessibility
Kentuck Museum Association, operating as Kentuck Art Center & Festival, is committed to ensuring that our website, kentuck.org, is accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We believe that art and culture should be available to everyone, and we are actively working to improve the accessibility of our digital presence.

2. Accessibility Standard
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those with visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor impairments.

3. Current Accessibility Status
We are in the early stages of our accessibility journey. We recognize that our website may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards, and we are committed to making ongoing improvements. Some areas we are actively working to address include:
-
Adding descriptive alt text to images throughout the site
-
Improving color contrast ratios for text and interactive elements
-
Ensuring keyboard navigability across all pages
-
Making forms and interactive content compatible with screen readers
-
Reviewing and improving the accessibility of embedded third-party content

4. Third-Party Platforms
Some areas of our website link to third-party platforms for ticketing, shopping, memberships, donations, and artist applications. These include Eventeny, Square, Bloomerang, and Zapplication. While we encourage these providers to maintain accessible experiences, we do not control their platforms and cannot guarantee their level of accessibility compliance. We recommend contacting those providers directly with accessibility concerns related to their services.

5. Feedback & Contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of kentuck.org. If you encounter any barriers, have difficulty accessing any content, or need information in an alternative format, please let us know. We take all accessibility concerns seriously and will do our best to respond promptly.
Please contact us by email at:
We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.

6. Our Ongoing Efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time task. As we continue to develop and update our website, we will incorporate accessibility best practices into our process. We plan to:
-
Regularly review our site for accessibility issues
-
Address reported barriers in a timely manner
-
Work toward full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance over time
-
Consider accessibility when adding new features, content, or pages
7. Statement Date
