Kentuck Art Center and Festival has locations in Northport and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. All are free to visit! Read below to learn more about what's at each place.

Kentuck's main campus sits in the heart of Historic Downtown Northport, Alabama and is home to five repurposed buildings containing seven artists studios, three galleries, three classrooms, and The Gallery Shop. You'll know you've arrived when you spot Rusty, our larger-than-life rooftop sculpture by Larry Godwin.

Traffic changes:

The City of Northport is in the middle of a streetscaping project in Downtown Northport. All businesses are still open and there are still plenty of places to park! Main Avenue is closed at the 5th Street intersection. Main Avenue is closed to thru traffic at 10th Street, but access to businesses is still maintained. 

Where to park to visit Kentuck:

  • At our Georgine Clarke Building parking lot on 5th Street

  • Behind Anders Hardware on 5th Street

  • Street parking along the south end of Main Avenue

  • North parking lot, near Rusty the giant red dog. Approach from 10th st and drive around barricade.

  • Lot between Gracefully Done Interiors and Mark's Mart

Discover Kentuck at Queen City, our newest location nestled inside the historic Queen City Pool and Poolhouse in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Home to Kentuck's Permanent Collection and rotating exhibits throughout the year, there's always something new to see. Stop by on the third Saturday of each month for our Art Markets, and don't miss The Deep End gift shop, stocked with Kentuck merchandise and one-of-a-kind pieces from local Tuscaloosa artists.

The Kentuck Festival of the Arts is an annual event that celebrates creativity, culture, and community in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. kentuck's gallery at hotel indigo

Kentuck's Gallery at Hotel Indigo is a satellite space curated by Kentuck Art Center, showcasing works by local artists. Accessible whenever the hotel is open: stop in, take in the art, then head up to the rooftop bar for a drink with a view of the Black Warrior River.
