Alana Baldwin's unique exhibit will be on display in Kentuck's Teer Gallery from September 04, 2025 - Septemeber, 28 2025. Alana Baldwin is an Oklahoma born, Texas raised artist. She works with themes of cause and effect and seeks to reconnect readers with the exploratory spirit of youth. Baldwin earned her BFA in Graphic Design from Auburn University and her MFA in Book Arts from the University of Alabama. She has over 9 years experience in various creative environments and industries, including her award-winning minibook, “Less Than Human,” and her collaborative work with Amy LeePard as “Open Letter Press,” one of Kentuck’s Studio Artists.

The Edible Herbarium showcases Baldwin’s latest solo works. Celebrating the exquisite detail of nature’s harvest, the pieces on display here are made from real plants, meticulously reconstituted and preserved by the artist. The process of Alana's work is truly one of a kind. It is inspired by the original process of papermaking, and uses vegetables to make original pieces of papyrus.
