Christmas Lights

Join Amy Smoot on November 6th to create your own clay Christmas ornament! Choose from a variety of Christmas shapes to cut out your ornament, and decorate your ornament with textures and glazes in this hour-long workshop.

Instructed by Linda Munoz | December 18, 1-4 PM; December 19, 2021, 12:30-2 PM

In this class, participants will create a “glass -on- glass” mosaic panel. Skills learned will include glass cutting, stained glass design, and grouting. The two day class will emphasize safe handling of glass and tools.

Participants of all age levels and abilities will have fun with acrylics! This is not a class where participants will be instructed, but a space where you can be creative alongside clients from United Cerebral Palsy of West Alabama.

Have you ever wondered about the process of art therapy? How can it be helpful, how can I use it in my own life, or maybe you are just feeling stuck in your life? This class is an art therapy experience that allows for open expression. Open expression will allow for exploration of new art materials as well as investigating your own thoughts and life challenges. As the artist, only you decide how and what you want to express.
